EXCLUSIVE: Edinburgh Speedway have announced that George Stancl will join the Scotwaste Monarchs on Friday.

Speaking from Somerset's Oak Tree Arena, where Edinburgh lost tonight's clash against the Rebels, team bosses confirmed to edinburghspeedway.com that Stancl will replace Theo Pijper, who - having been brought into the team just weeks ago - has tonight been dropped with immediate effect.

Stancl will feature in the Monarchs line-up as the team take on Rye House at Armadale this Friday.
