A very enjoyable party night at Tynecastle rounded off the Diamond Jubilee weekend celebrations of the club in style.

There were some very welcome guests in the shape of Monarchs' riders and officials past and present at one or both of the events, and special mention should go to those who had travelled from overseas, who were Jan Andersen, Robert Eriksson, Bernie Persson and also Colin Smith who now lives in Spain!

Travelling from down south we had Wayne Carter, Neil Collins, Johnny Greenwood, Bert Harkins, Ian Hart, Rob Hollingworth, Steve Lomas, Rob Mouncer, Guy Robson, George Stancl, Jonny Swales, Jamie Young and Dave Younghusband.

Unfortunately there were a few who had said they would attend but in the end didn't make it. However at the risk of having missed anyone out the full list was something like:

Jan Andersen, Brian Black, Grant Blackie, Alastair Brady, Alan Bridgett, Barry Campbell, John Campbell, Wayne Carter, Brian Collins, Neil Collins, George Cummings, Harry Darling, Robert Eriksson, Artie Fisher, Ryan Fisher, Jackie Fortune, Paul Gould, Johnny Greenwood, Alex Harkess, Bert Harkins, Ian Hart, Neil Hewitt, Rob Hollingworth, Tommy Hughson, Phil Jeffrey, Thomas H Jonasson, Scott Lamb, Kevin Little, Steve Lomas, David McAllan, Kenny McKinna, Gordon Mitchell, Red Monteith, Rob Mouncer, Niven Munro, Billy Murphy, Douglas Newlands, Bernie Persson, Eddie Prosser, Tony Rizzo, Guy Robson, Benny Rourke, Blair Scott, Jock Scott, Colin Smith, Derek Sneddon, George Stancl, Sean Stoddart, Aaron Summers, Jonny Swales, Jimmy Tannock, Doug Templeton, Willie Templeton, Andrew Tully, Jim Turner, Matthew Wethers, Jamie Young, Dave Younghusband.

Some of those who weren't there over the weekend have promised to visit some time before the end of the season.
