Glasgow Tigers v Edinburgh Monarchs

PREVIEW Saturday 24th April 2010, 12:00pm

  Edinburgh Monarchs

Two days ago, we would have believed we were in with a good chance of winning at Glasgow in the Premier Trophy.

Tigers have only won one of their three home matches in the competition, and with rider replacement for Jozsef Tabaka we should theoretically be stronger.

The events of Friday will have shaken that belief, but we should certainly still be travelling through with victory the intention.

Obviously we will need Wolbert, Katajisto and Tully to perform as we know they are capable of, and in Kalle?s case we need him to get organised mechanically.

There is no doubt Glasgow will have their tails up and be expecting victory ? what a difference a week makes! They were dismal at home to Workington, but this week they have their top two flying, and both Grajczonek and Dicken ready to deliver.

Tigers? question marks are at reserve where Davey has been patchy, though he scored 7 at Workington. But how many questions are we currently capable of asking of the Tigers? team?

Byron Bekker rides in place of the injured Max Dilger.

SCOTWASTE MONARCHS: Ryan Fisher, rider replacement for Jozsef Tabaka, Kevin Wolbert, Matthew Wethers, Andrew Tully, Byron Bekker, Kalle Katajisto.

A-PLANT TIGERS: Travis McGowan, Lee Dicken, Josh Grajczonek, rider replacement for Robert Ksiezak, James Grieves, Jamie Courtney, Mitchell Davey.
