MATCH POSTPONED

Tonight's Knockout Cup Final first leg against Newcastle has been postponed due to the weather and will be restaged at Armadale next Friday.

There was heavy rain this morning, and it was known that the bad weather was going to return - but when?

Sadly it came sooner rather than later and the calloff came at just after 6.

The club can confirm this evening that they have decided to continue racing at Armadale next season (see earlier story) but the public meeting planned for next Friday will now be switched the Thursday evening, 7:30 at the Almondvale Suite at Livingston FC.

This will be an open discussion between supporters and management on the club's future in the light of Monarchs' financial position.
