SELECT SIDE RIDES AT BERWICK

Andrew Tully will be in a Select team riding under the banner of ?Edinburgh Select? at Berwick next Saturday in a match arranged to assist with the cost of the new Shielfield air fence.

It couldn't be an official Monarchs' side ? for example Kevin has the PLRC the next day, and Matthew is attending Ross Brady's wedding ? but it will certainly have an Edinburgh flavour as former Monarchs Ryan Fisher, Derek Sneddon and James Grieves have agreed to race for the side.

The request only arrived on Saturday morning but it was an important occasion for the Bandits, so Alex Harkess was working hard yesterday to put the side together.

Supporters and riders will also be able to enjoy a Hog Roast in the Main Stand after the meeting with the Berwick Bandits Supporters Club who say ?Everybody is very very welcome to our Hog Roast, come along and have a drink and some gorgeous Hog Roast and meet the riders from The Edinburgh Select and The Berwick Bandits. Members of the BBSC are Free and Non Members are ?5.00, the ?5.00 goes straight into the Safety Fence Fund.?
