Craig Cook and Derek Sneddon were in action in the British Championship Semi Final at Sheffield on Thursday evening and Craig made it through to the final, finishing in second place on 13 points behind winner Danny King. Derek finished on 4 and failed to qualify.

Other qualifiers were Ben Barker, Scott Nicholls, Simon Stead, Adam Roynon and, with a last to first charge in heat 20 including passing Craig, Chris Harris.

The second semi final takes place at Rye House next Wednesday.

Aaron Fox, Sam Masters and Justin Sedgmen all made the journey to Owlerton in support of Craig and Derek.

Stevie Worrall was also in action on Thursday evening down at Swindon in the Robins Elite League match with Eastbourne. Stevie contributed five from his five races but it took a last race 5-1 from Peter Kildemand and Troy Batchelor to secure the win for the Robins.

Stevie is a busy man as in addition to riding for Swindon on Thursday he also guested for Wolverhampton at King's Lynn on Wednesday and after riding for us on Friday he will be guesting for Eastbourne at Leicester on Saturday before having a couple of days off.

Max Fricke has made use of a quiet week by nipping across to Denmark for some practice. The Danish League starts next week and Max is hopeful of some outings over there on a Wednesday.
