GREAT WEATHER FOR TONIGHT'S MEETING

The weather couldn't be better for tonight's big League Cup semi final clash with Sheffield at Armadale. The meeting gets underway at 7.30pm and it is possible to pay at the admission gates at the stadium.

The Scotwaste Monarchs suffered an injury scare after guest reserve Max Clegg crashed at Swindon on Thursday evening and took no further part in the meeting. However, he has confirmed on Friday morning that he is fit to take his place in the Scotwaste Monarchs line-up.

Sheffield do, however, make a late change to their line-up. Josh Bates, who many were looking to seeing again after his thrilling performances for us last year, aggravated a back injury at Sheffield on Thursday evening and has had to withdraw from the meeting. His place will be taken by Scunthorpe's National League rider Ryan McDonald.

Scotwaste Monarchs will be looking to produce as big a win as possible to take to the second leg of the Semi Final at Sheffield on 19th June but will need to be wary of the threat posed by Tigers number one Simon Stead.
