It's a blazing hot day at Armadale and it is certain that Berwick Bandits will provide a blazing hot challenge for the Scotwaste Monarchs as we battle for a place in the Knock Out Cup semi final.

Berwick arrive at Armadale this evening with a 12 point lead from the first leg on Wednesday and, for sure, they will be battling for every point as they try to defend their advantage. The Bandits will know how difficult their task is as only one team, Peterborough, has managed to get within twelve points of the Scotwaste Monarchs at Armadale this season.

Sam Masters was guesting for Sheffield in Yorkshire last night and he rounded of a poor night by having a big crash in his fourth race. That left him with sever bruising and a wrecked bike but he vows to carry on this evening.

Berwick will be without two of their regulars tonight. Claus Vissing had a big crash in heat 13 on Wednesday and has pulled out with a knee injury. Glasgow's inform Rusty Harrison takes his place. They will also be without by far their top scorer on Wednesday, Matej Kus, who has been obliged to return to his home country, the Czech Republic, to race in a league match there. Stevie Worrall's teammate at Swindon and Cradley, Nathan Greaves, comes in.

Monarchs' team manager, Alex Harkess has urged all supporters to be in good voice tonight and cheer the team to victory. It won't be easy.
