The Scotwaste Monarchs will be back to full strength on Friday night after Aaron Fox was given the all clear on Thursday morning to resume racing.

Aaron has been improving with each day since his crash nine days ago and a visit to his GP confirmed that he can now get back on a bike. To celebrate he made the short trip to Swindon to give Sam Masters a hand in the pits. Sam scored five points guesting for King's Lynn but on the other side of the pits Stevie Worrall was scoring 7 and a bonus to help the Robins to an eleven point win.

The Ben Nevis climb has now been rescheduled for Saturday 20th September and our resident mountaineer will be at the stadium admission gates on Friday evening to explain to all interested parties about what is required to make the gentle stroll up the UK's highest mountain.

It is now the intention to form teams of walkers to give a competitive edge to the outing. So if you want to be in Captain Deek's team or Mr Cool's team or even Smiler's team you will be able to add your name to the lists as you enter the stadium tomorrow.

The walk will commence at 10.00am on the 20th and it is an eight and a half mile to the top and back, taking anything from five to eight hours. It just depends how you get on as you make the ascent. Although climbers can make their own way to Ben Nevis transport will be supplied from the Edinburgh area for anyone who requires it. And we're going to stop off on the journey back from the mountain for tea.
