Talks are still taking place with Glasgow over a restaging date for Friday's rain off. The match could be critical to Scotwaste Monarchs chances of topping the League at cut off time.

With matches at Sheffield and Workington now unlikely to take place before the cut off the Scotwaste Monarchs must pick up maximum points from the other six matches, and win big, if Somerset are to be overhauled at the top.

The Rebels have three matches left. Home against Berwick and Workington and away at Workington. Conceivably they could finish with 71 points. Scotwaste Monarchs could also finish on 71 by winning the four remaining home matches and at Rye House and Glasgow.

Glasgow are currently considering a date for their return to Armadale and we hope to make an announcement within the next forty eight hours.

Of course the weather could still be the deciding factor in determining league placings.
