Berwick Bandits and Workington Comets will provide our opposition in the Premier League Play Offs with the Bandits the first visitors to Armadale on Friday.

After our storming victory at Glasgow on Sunday it was Alex Harkess who had the first pick of play-off opponents on Monday morning and our first selection was Workington. Gary May, the Somerset co-promoter, then produced a surprise by going against the rumour mill and selected Scunthorpe. Back to Alex who then chose Berwick leaving Somerset with Ipswich.

Said Alex after a flurry of early Monday morning phone calls, "We've got the two teams we wanted although if I'd listened to the rumours flying around over the past couple of days I would have believed that we'd be heading further south for our second match. I'm delighted that we have the opportunity to visit two tracks so close to us and it will mean we'll be able to take some supporters with us."

We hope that supporters will turn out in great numbers to give us a rousing start to the play-offs. It's all about winning at home and picking up a point or two away.

Our first away play-off match will be at Berwick on Saturday, 20th September at 7.00pm.

If we make the Final, because we finished top of the League at cut-off time, we will have the right to stage the second leg of the Final.

To launch the competition VIP hospitality has been reduced to £25 per head for the alcoholic package and £20 for the soft drink package. Book your tickets online by following the Buy Tickets tab at the top of this page.
