THEO'S NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS NINE DAYS AWAY

Four more riders have been added to the Theo Pijper Night of Champions which opens the Scottish Speedway season on Friday 20th March (7:30pm). There is just one place left to fill.

Adam Roynon comes in to the field on a track he hasn’t always relished, though he has won plenty of Armadale heats.

Redcar’s Pole Rafal Konopka will be competing for the prizes, and he did impress on his first visit last season in the Scottish Open.

The Border Roofing Monarchs’ new Aussie reserve signing Rob Branford has had his request to compete accepted.

And there will be another Dutchman in the field with Pascal Swart joining the previously announced Henk Koonstra.

Theo himself warmed up for his meeting with a practise session at Scunthorpe at the weekend.

Justin Sedgmen will not be racing in the Night of Champions because he has been booked for the Lee Richardson Memorial the same night on his old track at Lakeside. When Theo accepted the 20th for his meeting he stated that he would not take any riders out of the Richardson event.

ADMISSION: Prices will be at the 2015 club rate for admission on the night which is: Adults £17, Seniors/Students £14, Child 12 to 16 £8, Child under 12 £2. For the Testimonial we will not have an advance ticket facility, and please remember that season tickets do not apply.

HOSPITALITY: We will have a few tickets available for a night in Hospitality at £40 per head. These entitle the holder to admission, programme, buffet and free bar for the evening watching from the Hospitality area. Please email mike.hunter@edinburghspeedway.co
