The Border Roofing Monarchs and Glasgow Tigers are pleased to announce an exciting new initiative that will provide excellent additional value to season ticket holders of both clubs. Through working innovatively in partnership, both clubs are seeking to bring benefit to all concerned.

Starting this weekend, season ticket holders will be entitled to half price admission at home matches of the other team. The only exception is head to head meetings between the two clubs.

Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell said: “Speedway is a exciting sport and it's even better with bigger crowds creating a fantastic atmosphere. I’m delighted to work together with our colleagues in Glasgow to offer even better value to all our season ticket holders. Anything that adds value for our fans and for Scottish speedway has to be a move in the right direction.”

Tigers co-owner Gerry Facenna added: “With Edinburgh racing on Friday nights and Glasgow on Sunday afternoons, the new deal means that die-hard speedway fans can enjoy a double helping of speedway every weekend, or find an alternative fix if their first choice meeting is rained off.”

The new scheme takes effect immediately. Edinburgh Monarchs begin the defence of their Knock Out Cup with a tasty looking tie against Sheffield Tigers this Friday (22nd May), at Armadale Stadium from 7.30pm. Meanwhile, Glasgow Tigers face Premier League rivals Newcastle Diamonds at home on Sunday (24th May), with tapes-up at 3.00pm.

Season tickets must be produced to claim the admission discount.
