The Border Roofing Monarchs have just two points to pull back in this evening's first round second leg KO Cup tie against Sheffield at Armadale tonight but the outcome of last night's final race could have a big say in the final result.

In heat fifteen at Sheffield last night Andre Compton was left nowhere to go by partner Ashley Birks and hit the air fence hard. He eventually got to his feet but the diagnosis is that he has suffered concussion and cannot ride tonight. Already without Ty Proctor the Tigers have had to find another guest and have picked the best possible in Stevie Worrall. He scored paid seventeen for Newcastle at Armadale just two weeks ago.

At last we are blessed with sunshine at Armadale on a Friday and the temperature is a little higher than we have been experiencing recently.

We are hoping for a big crowd to cheer the Border Roofing Monarchs to a quater final clash with Redcar.

As special guests tonight in hospitality we have the Zany Shamrock band from Rankwell in Austria. We hope that they will give us a tune on their unusual musical instruments at some point during the evening.

Captain Craig Cook, having reached the grand old age of 28 yesterday will be looking to celebrate this evening with a maximum!
