Despite valiant efforts from the track staff tonight's Premier League clash between the Uncle B Monarchs and the Berwick Bandits was eventually called off just after eight o'clock. Heavy showers in the afternoon had caused the damage. No restaging date has been agreed.

Down at Somerset the Rebels beat Peterborough by 57 to 35 and this confirms that we have finished at the top of the Premier League and now await the fourth or fifth finisher in the Play off semi final.
