The dates have been announced for the biggest Scottish Derby for more than twenty years with the League Cup Final being contested by the Border Roofing Monarchs and the Allied Tigers.

The first leg will take place at Armadale on Friday 25th September at 7.30pm and the deciding leg at Ashfield Stadium on Sunday 27th September at 3.00pm.

Commenting on the Final, Monarchs Chairman, Alex Harkess, said, "Any meeting between the Monarchs and Tigers is special but there's no doubt that this tie will be more special than many. I well remember the atmosphere in the stadium at Powderhall back in 1994 when the teams last met in a national cup final and I'm sure that we can expect the same at Armadale in a fortnight's time. The result wasn't right for us back in 1994 but we're determined to keep our hands on the League Cup this time."

Online tickets for the match at Armadale will shortly go on sale as will sponsorship packages for this very special event.
