Max Clegg will miss both legs of this weekend's League Cup final after crashing in a National League match at Birmingham on Wednesday night.

Max was riding for Cradley in their big derby match with Birmingham at Perry Barr and hit the fence hard in heat 6 and tumbled down the home straight. He was up quickly but soon was feeling the worse for wear and had to withdraw from the meeting with a painful hand injury. A visit to hospital confirmed that he hadn't broken any bones but he is heavily bruised and very much feeling second hand. He has been ordered to rest and we await reports of improvement in the days to come.

Berwick young Argentinian, Coty Garcia, was happy to accept the guest booking for Armadale and will also ride at Glasgow on Sunday.

Friday's first leg of the League Cup Final is heading for a very big crowd. Advance ticket sales are far in excess of normal and ticket purchases have already exceeded the majority of attendances at Armadale this season.

Supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid a last minute rush to see the start of the meeting. It is likely that the stadium car parks will be full long before start time and supporters who cannot be accommodated in the car park are asked to park with consideration for our neighbours.

Any supporter bringing a readmission ticket from a previously postponed match should note that they will be asked to pay a surcharge to gain entry.

A special Cup Final programme has been produced and this will be on sale at £3.
