TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT

We are now counting down the last few hours before we reach the start of the deciding leg of this year's Premier League Championship Final. The Border Roofing Monarchs have been set a target of an eight point win to retain the title. Can we do it?

Both teams have been forced into team changes after last night's first leg at Ashfield. Rob Branford came off in heat two and was hit by Max Clegg. He suffered arm and hip injuries and although he was confident last night that he would be able to ride today that has proved to be wishful thinking. Instead he is heading off to his Derbyshire home and will visit the local hospital for a check up.

At a time of the year when it is difficult to find replacements, we are grateful to Buxton's Liam Carr for accepting the booking.

Glasgow will be without Aaron Summers after his horrible looking fall last night and they will now have Theo Pijper as a guest for Kauko Nieminen and rider replacement for Aaron with all riders in the Tigers team eligible for an extra ride.

With the score from last night being so close we do expect a very big crowd. The stadium car park will be open from 5.00pm and the gates opening promptly at 6.00pm for the 7.00pm start.

Supporters are asked that if they choose not to park in the stadium car park they are thoughtful in parking elsewhere in the area and think carefully of our neighbours.

Anyone looking to attend our End of Season Dance in the Edinburgh Capital Hotel on 7th November is reminded that after tonight ticket prices will rise from £35 to £37.50. Tickets on sale at the Club Shop tonight.
