Border Roofing Monarchs bosses are continuing their search for team members for the 2016 team and it could be that another announcement is imminent.

The Club have had a number of enquiries for the number 7 berth in the team. This must be filled by a British passport holder eligible for the National League with a three point average. Unfortunately despite qualifying on that basis for the 2015 team both Max Clegg and Rob Branford are ineligible for the position in 2016. With Max already signed up for 2016 it means he will have a new reserve partner.

No less than six riders have approached the Club about filling that berth and until such times as the place is filled all are still under consideration.

There are, of course, places in the main body of the team also available and talks are continuing with riders from last season's team to see if they can fill some of the vacancies together with discussions with newcomers.

It is never easy to conclude negotiations but hopefully more news will be forthcoming at the beginning of next week.
