May we wish all our sponsors, riders and supports a Happy and Prosperous New Year as we look forward to our first rider in action in 2016.

Sam Masters is riding in the four round Australian Championship over the next eight days and after a final qualifying round at Kurri Kurri Speedway in New South Wales on Friday evening the final line up is now known.

Sam was one of the eight seeded riders to the Championship with our old friends Max Fricke and Justin Sedgmen also seeded. The other seeds are Mason Campton, Rohan Tungate, Josh Grajczonek, Nick Morris and Ty Proctor.

Coming through the qualifier on Friday were Brady Kurtz, Jordan Stewart, Kieran Sproule, Jack Holder, Brodie Waters, Alan McDonald, Josh Pickering and Cooper Riordan.

Motorcycling Australia are making Sam the favourite for the title this year following on from his second place finish last year behind Jason Doyle. Sam, however, will know that he will face fierce competition from a number of other riders.

The first round takes place at Kurri Kurri on Saturday before moving onto Undera in Victoria on Wednesday, Gilman in South Australia on Friday before ending in Mildura in Victoria on Sunday week.
