Our opening night of the season is less than two weeks away now and when the Border Roofing Monarchs line up against the Belle Vue Aces on April 1 the winners will lift the Tricennial Trophy.

This trophy is in recognition of the thirty years that the current Monarchs management have guided the club. Edinburgh Speedway (1986) Limited promoted their first season in 1986 and have been at the reins ever since. In the modern era it is one of the longest surviving promotions.

The visit of the Belle Vue Aces is a special way of celebrating the occasion and tickets for the event are selling very well on the ticketing section of the website. Thanks to Club Sponsors, Border Roofing, we are able to offer normal admission prices for the match.

We are also offering 14 rider sponsorship packages at a cost of £100. You can sponsor the rider of your choice and gain the benefit of stadium admission and match magazine for two, reserved seating in the Champions Lounge. Buffet and drinks throughout the event. A group photo with both teams. A dvd of the match. Reserved car parking(if requested) and a visit to the centre green to see some of the action up close.
