Ryan Fisher has persuaded three of his former team mates from the 2008 season to turn out for his Testimonial which will be at Armadale on 3rd June.

They are all Scots too! Andrew Tully, William Lawson and team captain Derek Sneddon rode with Ryan in that memorable season when Monarchs won the Premier League for the second time, and they will be competing in his meeting, bringing back memories of when Scotland had some successful Premier League riders.

Andrew said “I was at the Testimonial for Christian Henry on Sunday but I didn’t ride because I know what I am like – I would be flat out and either win or crash, probably the latter. But I’ll definitely be riding in Ryan’s meeting!”

William Lawson has had a few practise sessions recently in his Belle Vue race suit, while Derek Sneddon is the most recently retired having captained his second league winning Monarchs team in 2014.

Ryan added “It’s a great team we had that year and I’d like to get as many of my team mates in the meeting as I can. I appreciate the Scottish boys agreeing to ride.”
