Flyin Tonight, the Ryan Fisher testimonial at Armadale on 3rd June, will be sponsored by Monarchs’ team sponsors Border Roofing.

Company boss Eddie McKenna, a prominent figure at Armadale every week of course, said “We had no hesitation agreeing to sponsor the meeting after the service Ryan has given the club over the years.”

It’s not long now and the field is almost complete, with the addition of home star Sam Masters plus Glasgow Tigers’ captain Aaron Summers and Newcastle’s Matej Kus.

Masters became available when a scheduled visit by Wolverhampton to Coventry was switched to the following Monday.

Fisher said “I’m grateful to Aaron Summers for coming along, he’s one of these good guys who does Testimonials. That’s most of the 2008 league winning side which I was in with Aaron, Andrew Tully, William Lawson and Thomas Jonasson, all riding. Derek Sneddon will be attending the meeting but can’t ride, and I’d love to have my good friend Matthew Wethers but he has a meeting for Berwick.”

Matthew has written a tribute for the programme even though he can’t be there.

Riders announced so far: Ricky Wells, Justin Sedgmen, Billy Janniro, Kenneth Hansen, Thomas H Jonasson, Andrew Tully, William Lawson, Dukie Ermolenko, Sam Masters, Aaron Summers, Matej Kus, Ryan Fisher.

Advance tickets at discounted prices will be available for the last time at Armadale on Friday (they won’t be sold online), and this will also be the final chance for anyone to get involved in sponsoring Ryan’s meeting.
