Ryan Fisher is hopeful that he will be able to take his place in the team for our KO Cup match with Glasgow on Friday.

Ryan crashed very heavily with Paul Starke at Somerset last Wednesday and required a trip to Weston Super Mare Hospital. There x-rays showed that he had broken the fifth metatarsal on his left foot. They plastered him from toes to knee and sent him on his way.

Ryan has since visited hospital in Scotland and had the plaster removed and he now has a support boot on his foot. He said, "I knew that something was broken after the crash because my foot was aching and that's always a sure sign. I don't really have any pain now and with the plaster cut off I think I can race on. I'm improving every day."

Ryan visits the doctor again on Wednesday and if that check up is ok then he intends to line up for the team on Friday.
