We had one of the Parsons Peebles Monarchs in action on Thursday evening and what an impressive show Mark Riss turned in at Sheffield.

Mark was guesting at reserve for one of the title favourites, the Tigers against another of the title favourites, Ipswich. It turned out to be a huge win for the Tigers by 57 to 33. Mark top scored for the Tigers with 14 and a bonus from his seven rides, including three race wins. More of the same on Friday night please!

Again advance ticket sales for Friday night are going well being just fractionally lower than last week's sale. All children are reminded that the first 100 will receive an Easter Egg as they enter the stadium.

Berwick have had to make a late change in their team. Ryan Blacklock, apparently, rode on with two broken vertebrae in his back but has now been forced to take a break. With it being Good Friday, many riders are in action and the Bandits have had to search long and hard to find a replacement, eventually coming up with Cradley's Joe Lawlor.

There will be two Parsons Peebles Monarchs riders in action at lunchtime on Friday with Sam Masters and Max Clegg lining up for Wolverhampton in their match at Belle Vue before heading north to Armadale.
