NEWS Saturday 26th August 2017, 8:00pm
We have now agreed a date for the restaging of our match with Ipswich and it will form the second part of a double header on Friday 8th September.
Said co-promoter John Campbell, "We have looked at a number of alternatives for the restaging particularly in making it a single fixture but there were problems with other dates and this seemed the most logical date to allow us to restage the fixture prior to the cut off date for play-off places on 18th September."
Winning both matches will take the Parsons Peebles Monarchs very close to securing their play off spot.
The meeting on the 8th will start promptly with the first race, including Craig Cook, going to the tapes at 7.00pm. Additional medical cover will be in place to try to limit any potential hold ups and we expect to be staging the thirtieth race at 10.00pm.
Admission charges will be higher on the night to reflect the additional races being staged but will be held at the level charged for our last double header staged on 2nd September last year. They will be:
|Child 12 to 16||£6||£8|
|Child 5 to 11||£2||£3|
|Child Under 5||Free||Free|
The small number of supporters who have already purchased tickets for the Workington match will be contacted directly with an offer the upgrade their tickets for the double header.
