Doc and Muriel Are Wed

We bring you the excellent news in this Festive period that two of Monarchs’ most popular personalities, Alan Bridgett and Muriel Steedman, were married early today.

Of course they have been together for a long time, but now it’s official! We are sure that everyone at Armadale will join us in congratulating the happy couple.

Alan Bridgett of course rode for Monarchs from 1977 to 1979, at the end of his racing career, and since then has served as team manager and track manager until very recently. Muriel has been an important part of our highly regarded Hospitality team for quite a few seasons.
