The line ups have been unveiled for this Friday's Platinum Jubilee celebration at Armadale Stadium.

The format for the event takes the shape of a four team tournament with each team taking the name of their sponsor with a racejacket inspired by a different era in the Monarchs history.

Some big names will take to track to contest the 16 heat main event before the top scorer from each team will progress to the grand individual final. The teams are as follows:

The John Somerville Collection Monarchs - 1: Sam Masters, 2: Mark Riss, 3: Mason Campton, 4: Josh Pickering.

Cat's Monarchs - 1: Craig Cook, 2: Scott Nicholls, 3: William Lawson, 4: Coty Garcia.

The Ewen Family Monarchs - 1: Rory Schlein, 2: Richie Worrall, 3: Lasse Fredriksen, 4: Max Ruml.

The Staggs Bar Monarchs supported by Douglas Griffin - 1: Ricky Wells, 2: Paul Starke, 3: Matthew Wethers, 4: Joel Andersson.

Erik Riss unfortunately will be sidelined from the match having suffered concussion during the Monarchs visit to Newcastle, this leaves one place in the line up still to be filled.

Many former Monarchs will be present to enjoy the 70th Anniversary celebrations and to share some wonderful memories of their times with the Club.

Rider sponsorship packages are available for just £120, for this you will receive:

  • 2 x Stadium admission
  • 2 x Souvenir Jubilee Magazines
  • Signed Jubilee racejacket worn by your rider to take home
  • DVD of the Jubilee

Also on offer is the opportunity to rub shoulders with some Monarchs legends in our hospitality lounges with our Platinum VIP package priced at just £40 including:

  • VIP hospitality throughout the event including food and drink
  • Glass of bubbly upon arrival
  • Souvenir Jubilee Magazine
  • DVD of the Jubilee

These are available now at www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/jubilee

It is set to be an action packed evening to mark this significant milestone in the history of the Monarchs - don't miss it!

UPDATE: With Erik Riss unfortunately crashing out of Sunday's match at Newcastle, he is unable to take his place in the Jubilee. He will be replaced by popular ex-Monarch and Grand Prix star Craig Cook, who makes an exciting return north. Craig will captain Cat's Monarchs, with Mark Riss moving to The John Somerville Collection Monarchs.
