Following on from Erik's injury at Newcastle on Sunday we were searching for a replacement when the call came from Craig Cook to confirm that he would ride.
Craig was in the original list of riders invited but couldn't confirm until he knew that he wouldn't be required for practice in Poland. Thankfully that confirmation came just in time to join our meeting.

We are hopeful on the night to be joined by many ex-Monarchs and those that have indicated that they hope to be there are riders from the Old Meadowbank, Coatbridge, Powderhall and Armadale eras. We hope to welcome Bobby Beaton, Alistair Brady, Ross Brady, Brian Collins, Les Collins, Neil Collins, Sean Courtney, ex team manager George Cummings, Harry Darling. It will be great to see Mitchell Davey. James Grieves, Neil Hewitt, Rob Hollingworth, Scott Lamb, Steve Lomas, David McAllan, Cal McDade, Kenny McKinna, Gordon Mitchell, Alan Robertson, Guy Robson, Jock Scott, Derek Sneddon, Sean Stoddart, Glyn Taylor, Doug Templeton, Dave Trownson and Brian Turner. And not forgetting Max Fricke.
Peter Carr, perhaps the greatest of our Armadale riders, is 50/50 on attending and that's much more positive than he normally is but he does promise that if he doesn't make it on Friday he will visit later in the season.
