We can now bring you the restaging date of our abandoned meeting against Berwick on 10th August and it will be Friday 14th September.

Explained co-promoter John Campbell, "I initially had discussions with Scott Courtney about the Bandits returning on 31st August as part of a double header but last week a number of Clubs made a request to the BSPA to extend the play off deadline and an extension was confirmed until Sunday 16th September. That gave me the opportunity to offer Berwick the mid September date and Scott has now confirmed that he will bring his riders that night."

Campbell continued, "No track would stage a double header out of choice and when the possibility of another Friday opened up it was an obvious choice. Who knows we might both be still chasing a play off spot at that time."

Supporters are reminded that readmission tickets from the abandonment will be valid on that night, subject to the payment of a small surcharge, but they will also be valid at any of our meetings before that. Supporters using the readmission ticket on Friday are requested to bring the correct change to speed entry at the admission gates with a bumper crowd expected.
