The Staggs Bar Monarchs have fallen at the final hurdle in the chase for one of the remaining Play Off places, losing 42-48 to the Berwick Bandits on a massively rain affected track.
With almost 24 hours of rain falling on the track in the lead up to the match, it was already challenging for the match to go ahead. The track was looking good ahead of a heavy shower at 6:30pm which caused a delay whilst the track staff got the track raceable again.
