We've waited a long time! Our quarter final tie in the Knock out Cup was decided at Berwick on 30th June and now, almost three months later, we can confirm that Workington will be our opponents in the Semi Final and we don't have to wait long for the semi final action.

The Comets raced the deciding leg of their Quarter Final against Newcastle on Friday evening at Derwent park starting with a ten point lead from the first leg at Brough Park on 8 July. Postponements and fixture changes have seen the second leg delayed until now. The Comets made light work of the Diamonds running out victors by 61 to 29 to complete an aggregate win by 42 points.

The first leg of the semi final takes place next Friday, 28th September, at Armadale with a 7.30pm start. The deciding leg at Workington is on the next night, Saturday 29th September with a 7.00pm start.

Tickets are now on sale on this website for next Friday's match. We also have good availability for VIP hospitality.

Gold Members are reminded that this match is not included as part of their membership but can either load up their Gold Card online or pay their member admission prices at Gate 1: Adults £14, Students/Seniors £11, Children 12 to 16 £4 and Children under 12 free. It will also be possible to purchase a match magazine at the admission gate for £3.
