TV Duo Coming to Edinburgh

Monarchs are very happy to announce that as part of our build-up to the new season we will be welcoming the famous TV duo of Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum to Edinburgh to present their roadshow on Friday 15th March at Tynecastle Park's Gorgie Suite.

They have been doing a great job for years covering the Grand Prix and British League Speedway on both Sky and BT Sport, and their roadshows have become extremely popular around the country.

Nigel Pearson said "We are very happy to be coming to a new venue and are looking forward to a great night. It's ten years now since we visited Armadale to cover a meeting. We are very aware that Edinburgh have just passed the milestone of their seventieth anniversary and that they have a great history.

"I'm speaking for Kelvin as well when I say we are very happy to be coming up and that the event has fitted so well into our schedule. As you can imagine Kelvin has a fund of stories from his career including meeting the Queen, his relationships with Kenny Carter and Simon Wigg, and many more."

Former World Longtrack Champion and British Speedway Champion Kelvin Tatum rode at Powderhall (for Bradford) and Armadale (for Arena Essex) and whilst giving a good account of himself, will probably remember hitting the Armadale fence on the last bend after leading all the way against Frede Schott and Peter Carr. He will doubtless want to give his slant on that one!

Tickets are on sale now with the earlybird price of £10 available up to 11:59pm on February 15th. Thereafter tickets will cost £12.

Doors open at the Gorgie Suite, Tynecastle Park at 7pm on Friday 15th March with the show getting underway at 7:30pm.
