Stormy guests tomorrow

The Staggs Bar Monarchs will use old favourite Matthew Wethers as a guest against Glasgow tomorrow in the final Championship Shield match of the season.

The ever-popular Stormy Wethers is a club asset on loan to Newcastle this season, and his recent form has been excellent with a score of 13 on his current home track against Leicester last Sunday. We know that Matthew, a ten-year Monarch, will give it everything he's got.

Josh Pickering is back home after his heavy crash at Leicester which has left him feeling very second hand, but which might well have been more serious than it has turned out.

Josh said today "I've got a real sore head and shoulder and I will just be resting and using ice. The doctor has said between one and three weeks recovery time but I'm just going to take it day to day. I'll be along tomorrow to cheer the boys on."

Glasgow require a draw from tomorrow's fixture to qualify for the Shield semi-final.
