The Staggs Bar Monarchs return to action will have to wait another week as the Championship match at Berwick tonight fell victim to the weather.

The rain came in late and heavy and while the hope was it was a passing shower and a delayed start time would do the job the rain stayed on till around 19.40 and despite clearing up then the damage was done.

Anyone in attendance should hold on to their admission ticket as these will be valid for the re-staging the date of which will be announced once known.

The Monarchs will now return to action next Friday at Armadale where the Redcar Bears provide the opposition, tapesup at 19.30 tickets available now.
