After a challenging start to the season, Monarchs launched a mid-season survey to find out the thoughts from the fanbase. Following that, things are now looking up.

The clearest message from the survey was the overall dissatisfaction with the 2019 line-up.

Although the management are always on the lookout for the best possible line-up, rider availability and averages played a huge part in the time taken to reshuffle the team.

Plans for changes were already in motion ahead of the survey taking place.

A revised line-up was announced last week, including the reintroduction of Sam Masters who has already drastically improved the mindset in the Monarchs camp and fan base.

Work has been carried out since the start of the season and continues on a weekly basis to maintain the overall surface. The recent changeable weather has made track preparation challenging, however the Club takes pride in managing to keep the dust levels to a minimum whilst racing in the current high temperatures.

Other relatively minor items such as the sound system not being loud enough in the bar and the microphones have actively been looked at over the past few weeks to improve everyone's enjoyment of every match.

The all-new Club Shop has generally been well received and the new style of presentation, including the new studio with John and Liam, have gained mostly positive reviews.

Every piece of feedback has been read and taken on board, ensuring the Club will continue to strive to improve the Friday night experience at Armadale Stadium.

It is hoped that the strengthening of the team will see a return of the crowd after a drop off over the past few weeks.

The Club would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part in the survey. The winners of the VIP tickets and those that requested an answer to a specific question will be contacted over the next few days.
