The morning rain cleared Armadale just after 11 this morning and we've been busy getting the track ready for tonight's meeting against Eastbourne, hindered only by some drizzle at one o'clock.

The weather forecast suggests that we might have seen the last of the rain for the day and we've certainly had more sunshine than cloud in the last three hours.

The Eagles travel north without the banned Edward Kennett but have an excellent replacement in Nick Morris. We still await news on whether or not Georgie Wood will make the trip north.

For the Staggs Bar Monarchs, Cameron Heeps came through the match at Ipswich last night and will definitely be in the team tonight.

The Championship match, sponsored by Pentland Land Rover, will be followed by a Northern Junior League match between the Dale Devils and Redcar Cubs.
