Cameron Heeps paid a visit to hospital last night after his horror crash in heat 4 of our match with Birmingham fearing that he may have broken ribs. However, the good news is that xrays have confirmed that nothing is broken.

Cameron was able to return to his Scottish base early on Saturday morning but is in a huge amount of pain and will take a good few days to fully recover.

The accident happened in heat 4 of the match with the Brummies with Jason Garrity leading into the last lap. Garrity came down on the second corner and with right on his tail he was left with nowhere to go and powered into the airfence at high speed. Initially he was unable to breath after he had followed his bike into the airfence and took a major blow to his chest.

With our important match coming up at Somerset we'll see how things develop over the next few days.

Thank goodness for the airfence!
