Staggs Bar Monarchs enjoy an excellent relationship with our local community, including many excellent initiatives such as our support of Armadale Children's Gala Day.

It is important that all connected with the Club continue to play our part in this positive relationship. Speedway and the town of Armadale co-exist happily though, as with anything, there can always be room for improvement.

One area that has been recently highlighted to the Club is that of parking outwith the stadium car parks. Last Friday it was reported by one of our neighbours that a supporter had parked their car in the roadway into Mallace Avenue.

This resident was very upset with this parking and made a formal complaint at the stadium. Thankfully our supporter was quick to respond to our announcement and the car was moved elsewhere within 15 minutes.

The root of the problem was a road safety issue, when cars are parked on the road into the housing estate it forces outgoing vehicles into the pathway of incoming vehicles or vice-versa and is potentially very dangerous.

There is generally ample space in the stadium car parks for all and we would ask that all supporters make use of these car parks, not to park in the Mallace Avenue or Birkdale Park estates, and always park with consideration.

The Club is grateful for the ongoing support of our supporters in this and all matters.
