Extended Championship Campaign Headlines 2020 Fixtures

A packed schedule will see at least 19 senior fixtures take place at Armadale Stadium throughout this summer.

Bikes will roar back into action on Friday 27th March when the prestigious 65th Scottish Open Championship takes place, pitting some of the best riders in the league against each other as they battle for the Jack Young Memorial Trophy.

Monarchs will then launch their team campaign with the massive Scottish Cup weekend against Glasgow at home on Friday 10th April followed by the deciding leg in the west 24 hours later.

From there, it's competitive action all the way to September, with Newcastle providing the first opposition in the expanded Championship on April 17th.

Each Championship club will visit once, with Berwick, Glasgow, Newcastle, Redcar and Scunthorpe all visiting a second time with all points counting towards the league table.

Championship newcomers Poole and Kent will line up at Armadale Stadium for the first time ever on 26th June and 3rd July respectively. Poole are the most successful team in British Speedway in the modern era and will be much anticipated opposition as they visit Armadale to take on the most successful second division team of the modern era in the Monarchs.

Monarchs have been informed of a change to the previously announced Knock Out Cup ties, with Newcastle Diamonds now providing the first round opposition for the Monarchs. The tie takes place on Friday 8th May at Armadale with the return on Sunday 10th May at Newcastle ensuring a thrilling weekend of Cup action.

Combined with the Armadale Devils fixtures, supporters can look forward to an exciting and extensive programme of fixtures in the coming season.
