John and Liam were joined by new What The Fork Monarch Kye Thomson for Sunday Lunch as he introduced himself to his new British fans.

Kye had already made his way to Scotland back in March ahead of the new season starting and although he didn't get the opportunity to visit Armadale Stadium, he enjoyed seeing some of the tourist sites of Edinburgh saying, "I loved it, it has an awesome feel to it, a very Harry Potter feel!"

As the coronavirus situation quickly developed, Kye headed back home to Australia to be with his family, "I'm in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast. My sister's boyfriend is Nick Morris, so he's actually here with me and the family now."

Kye mentioned that he has a speedway track in his backyard so has been able to keep active on a bike, commenting "It's usually one at a time but I've had a few dices with Nick!"

Kye went on to talk about how he got into the sport, "I rode a few disciplines starting with motocross when I was a kid before moving on to road racing. I did that for a while but the cost got too much. I ended up getting into flat track racing where I won a few Australian titles. But there wasn't really anywhere to go with that, so when Nick came into the family I saw what he was doing [in speedway] and it looked pretty good, so I got into it."

If you missed last weekend's Sunday Lunch, you can watch now over on EMTV.

John and Liam return for another live Sunday Lunch With... question and answer session this Sunday from midday when 2020 What The Fork Monarch Lasse Fredriksen joins them live from Norway.

Ahead of that, EMTV:Rewind presents another sizzling derby match from the archive, showcasing when we took on Glasgow in the Spring Trophy in April 2011.

You can watch the next episode here on Friday evening from 7:30pm!
