The results of the second round of the Coronavirus Survey conducted by What The Fork Monarchs have now been analysed.
With each round of the survey it becomes possible to understand the changing mood amongst Monarchs supporters. Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell highlighted some key findings, "Firstly I wish to thank everyone who took part in this round of the survey. We had a very similar level of responses to the first round which is important.
"Across the board the mood is shifting in a positive direction which I believe is a reflection of the day-by-day progress that the country is making against the virus.
"Specifically it is good to see that an increase in the number of people that will attended when we are allowed to stage racing at Armadale Stadium, subject to full government approval and measures, and across the survey there are signs of increasing confidence."
This survey is just one important element as the Club chart a return to action. A full review of all areas of matchday operations is ongoing, Campbell continued, "We have looked at every part of what we do at Armadale to ensure that the stadium will be covid-secure when the time comes to restart racing and welcome supporters back.
"The safety of all is crucial and we have analysed all areas so that government guidance is implemented in full. We continue to work with the Speedway Control Bureau and the whole of British Speedway to bring a return to racing when possible in a safe and sustainable manner."
Once again, the survey will return in the coming weeks so that the evolving view of supporters can be gauged.
95.1% (was 96.5%) miss attending speedway.
As things stand at the present time, 86.9% (was 85.7%) will attend if speedway is staged in 2020 with government approval and/or measures in place.
98% (was still 98%) would be comfortable with booking online or paying via contactless payments to reduce physical interaction.
