Countdown is on! Fixtures revealed for 2021

Excitement is growing at the prospect of the 2021 speedway season as What The Fork Monarchs fixtures have been revealed.

The tapes are scheduled to rise on British Speedway's Championship season in May with a thrilling summer of racing through to the Championship Play Offs in September.

What The Fork Monarchs start the campaign with a tasty opening weekend home-and-away tussle against Newcastle Diamonds, at Armadale Stadium on Friday 7th May followed by the trip to Newcastle on Sunday 9th (UPDATE: Monarchs away Championship match at Newcastle has been rescheduled for Sunday 5th September due to government coronavirus restrictions).

The Diamonds will also provide the opposition in the first round of the Knock Out Cup, having been drawn to face the Monarchs in early June.

Away tours will provide a great opportunity for travelling supporters to follow their team. Monarchs hit the road on a mini-tour of Plymouth and Poole in early August, swiftly followed by a second tour of Kent and Birmingham.

Armadale Stadium will also be the first stop on northern tours for Birmingham, Eastbourne, Kent, Plymouth and Poole meaning that Monarchs fans may have some competition on the terraces with the travelling supporters boosting the atmosphere.
