What The Fork Monarchs promotion wish to thank everybody who attended and watched online as the culmination of months of planning took effect with the return of spectators to Armadale Stadium on Friday evening.

Co-Promoter John Campbell summarised, "It was great to have the What The Fork Monarchs back in action and it was wonderful to be able to welcome our supporters back to Armadale Stadium after so long away. I hope everyone had a fantastic time.

"We have been studying guidance and drawing up plans, working with the Scottish Government and West Lothian Council for many months. We were pleased with how everything went and will iron out one or two hiccups in the future.

"It was somewhat of a step into the unknown and I thought all of our supporters handled it terrifically. Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we all got used to a new way of operating.

"I also wish to thank everyone who helped put everything in place for us to open and also all of our Covid Marshals for ensuring everything went smoothly.

"We are awaiting further guidance from the relevant authorities so that we may increase our capacity back towards normal levels in order to welcome all of our supporters back as soon as possible.

"It was great to be back hosting speedway in front of a crowd and I am already looking forward to next Friday."

The Club is working to streamline the in-stadium experience for every supporter who attends next week - but feedback is welcomed.
