What the Fork Monarchs are pleased to announce the arrival of 19 year old Anders Rowe to ride for us, following his release by Redcar. He will replace William Lawson in the side.

He said "I'm looking forward to it. I've been at Armadale a couple of times, my visit early this year was my second. My heat one was all right that night when I led Sam Masters till the last bend. After the race he told me what I'd done wrong, so it will be good for me to ride with him!"

Anders rode in this year's British Final, and started the season in superb form in the Premiership with several double figure scores for Ipswich. He then suffered knee ligament damage at King's Lynn and missed much of July, and has gradually been regaining his form since then.

"I hadn't really expected to lose my place, I was just getting back on my feet after my injury and getting back to how I was before my injury. I was feeling comfortable on the bike again."

One of the new breed of British riders, he has ridden in Poland and believes that is something everyone should aim for. "You've got to race over there, some of the Edinburgh boys have done that like Max Fricke, and Sam Masters is over there. So it will be pretty cool to come to Edinburgh.

"Sam doesn't stay with Edinburgh so long for no reason. That's because it's a good club."
