Farewell to Armadale Draw Complete for Ratho Coaches Scottish Open

The draw for the 2022 Ratho Coaches Scottish Open has been completed so that the riding order that will say Farewell to Armadale this Saturday can now be unveiled!

A strong line up has been assembled for the event which will bring the curtain down on Monarchs' reign at Armadale Stadium this Saturday 15th October from 6:30pm.

The riding order will be as follows:

The 2022 Ratho Coaches Scottish Open Speedway Championship will say Farewell to Armadale this Saturday 15th October at Armadale Stadium. Gates open 5pm, action starts 6:30pm. Enjoy 22 heats of speedway and a sensational firework display!

The top three scorers after 20 heats of awesome speedway action will progress directly to the Grand Final with the next four highest scorers going to the last chance Semi Final. The winner of the Semi Final will secure their shot at the Scottish Open title by progressing to the winner-takes-all Grand Final.

Many legends of the Armadale era will also be in attendance, with names to be announced later this week. The event will conclude with a spectacular firework display to round off a momentous evening.

A special 60-page souvenir magazine, priced at £5, will be available on the night, including a year-by-year account of the Monarchs' time at Armadale Stadium

The supporters bus provided by Duddingston Private Hire/Ratho Coaches will operate as normal departing from the Waterloo Place at 4:30pm. The return fare is £10 for adults and £3 for kids, payable in cash upon arrival at Armadale Stadium.

Gold+ Members will be admitted at no additional charge, with discounts available to Gold Members and Blue Reward Card holders.

With a big crowd expected, supporters are strongly encouraged to book in advance to streamline entry into the stadium:
