Stellar Monarchs Academy look to extend their strong start to the season with a clash of the crowns against Kent Royals this Friday at Armadale Stadium.

A healthy crowd defied the weather to support the Monarchs Academy in their first ever outing at Armadale on 14th April as the team took an excellent 10 point victory over Belle Vue Colts.

Monarchs Academy manager Scott Wilson was delighted by the opening match, "The boys get a real boost when they look out on the terraces and see a big crowd backing them. This put a spring in their step against Belle Vue without doubt.

"I was pleased with the performance we put in, it was a very promising start. The team are grateful for the support and I am optimistic that the crowd will grow and grow as everyone sees the high standard of the team this year and also the fantastic quality of racing that they produce on track."

Stellar Monarchs Academy take on Kent Royals this Friday 5th May at Armadale Stadium from 7:30pm. Tickets are available here:
