Kye Thomson Sidelined by Mystery Illness

Stellar Monarchs have been rocked by the news that Kye Thomson will miss Friday's massive home match against Poole Pirates.

In riding to an immaculate full maximum last Friday against Berwick, Kye also rode through feeling unwell earlier that day.

Kye developed food poisoning-like symptoms by the start of the week which deteriorated to the point of being admitted to hospital early on Wednesday morning.

Kye remains in hospital undergoing tests to determine the cause of his illness and will be unable to take his place in the match at Armadale Stadium on Friday.

Everyone at the Club wishes Kye all the very best for a speedy recovery and hope he is back fighting fit as soon as possible.

Stellar Monarchs bosses have been scouring the country for a guest to take Kye's place with limited suitable options available. News of the guest will follow when known.
