Stellar Monarchs Relish 2024 Fixture List

Stellar Monarchs are looking forward to the 2024 Cab Direct Championship season with the release of the fixture list. Get your diary ready to mark in all the Monarchs fixtures!

The season opens for Stellar Monarchs at Armadale Stadium on Friday 5th April with a mouthwatering Scottish derby clash against Glasgow Tigers followed by a quick-fire away double at Glasgow on 12th April and away at Berwick on 13th April.

Poole Pirates await in the Knock Out Cup Quarter Final away on Wednesday 24th April with the deciding leg at home on Friday 3rd May before the Cab Direct Championship campaign swings into action on Friday 17th May.

The 2024 home fixture list features two BSN Series group stage fixtures, a Knock Out Cup Quarter Final and 8 Cab Direct Championship fixtures.

Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "It is always exciting when the fixture list is released as everyone can start making plans for the new season. We are positive about the year ahead and we are sure it will be an enjoyable one.

"Supporters will be able to see the Stellar Monarchs in action, either home or away, almost every week from April right through to mid August, with Play Offs and Cup matches beyond this.

"The nature of modern speedway sees the Monarchs racing about once a week on average with supporters able to follow the team on the road at the stadiums or through live streaming which most teams offer now, or on British Speedway Network.

"In any sport it is important that supporters can regularly see their team to follow the narrative of the season and live streaming of away matches helps this massively."

Stellar Monarchs will also be joined on track at Armadale Stadium by Stellar Monarchs Academy in 2024, Campbell continued, "Many supporters enjoy watching the next generation of speedway talent hone their skills and we are pleased to continue with the Academy team in the National Development League.

"This will add 5 home fixtures to the schedule for fans to get an extra fix of racing throughout the year."

Max James and Kye Thomson became the first names on the Stellar Monarchs 2024 team sheet recently and Campbell adds that more will be announced shortly, "We have been working through the 2024 line up in meticulous detail to consider how the riders will perform in the landscape of the new team building limit.

"We are delighted to welcome Max and to welcome back Kye. It is our belief that Kye has more to offer and we are known for our commitment to riders to give them the opportunity to show their best form.

"It is looking likely that we will be able to share more team news in the near future."
