Cab Direct back 2024 Championship KO Cup

British Speedway is delighted to announce its Championship sponsorship deal with Cab Direct has been extended to incorporate the 2024 Knockout Cup.

The UK's top taxi supplier gave their backing to the league competition in 2023, which proved to be a highly successful and beneficial arrangement for both parties and is continuing into the new season.

Now the KO Cup at Championship level will also receive full Cab Direct support with Stellar Monarchs due to take on Poole Pirates in the quarter finals.

Cab Direct Marketing Director, Donald Pow, commented: "It's a natural progression to extend our sponsorship to the Championship Knockout Cup.

"It was an excellent first year for Cab Direct with the Championship and our brand awareness because of speedway expanded.

"Speedway and Cab Direct remain a perfect fit. Speedway has thousands of loyal fans across the UK and Cab Direct has thousands of loyal taxi drivers and operators.

The 2024 speedway season begins at Armadale Stadium on Friday 5th April as Stellar Monarchs host Glasgow Tigers in the BSN Series.

Next Friday 16th February - Highlights Show - Part 2

Don't forget that Highlights Show - Part 2 takes place next Friday 16th February at Napier University, Craiglockhart. Doors open 6:45pm with the show starting at 7:30pm.

Part 2 of the Highlights Show will feature great race action from 2023 to whet the appetite ahead of the new season.

Tickets are available in the Monarchs online ticket office priced at £5 for adults with kids 16 and under £2, and under 5s going free or can be purchased on the door.
